group in the Annual Relay for Life that supports the
American Cancer Society.

Cancer Survivor's Mass
Date : Sunday April 18th

Each year our Court participates as a
group in the Annual Cancer Survivor's Mass for our parish.
This is a great spiritual event that honors many of our own
court members but also many of our parishioners. Come to
this healing experience and celebrate the life of many

Lenten Fish Fry
Date : Each Friday of Lent, Feb 19th - March 26th
Time : 4pm - 6pm delivery

Weekly Lenten Fish Fry is
sponsored by the Knights
of Columbus and our court provides cakes to this event.

Interfaith
Hospitality Dinner
Date : Tuesday April 20th
Time : 4pm - 6pm delivery, Dinner 6 - 8pm

Four times a year, our parish is host to
homeless families from our community which are able to stay
together as a family unit through the InterFaith
Hospitality Network. Our court is responsible for the meal
preparation and service for one of the evenings during each
of those stays. In addition to the food for the meal, our
members dine with the families and spend time visiting and
give a sense of community. If you are interested in helping
with the meal preparation or dining with the families
please contact Sirene Brunell for more info or sign-up at
the next meeting.
Multi-District Lenten Retreat

Lenten
Retreat focusing on "Arms are too short to box with God".
Our special guest, Olga Samaniego, will led our 2010
retreat and provided us with a great opportunity to learn
more about self and improving our relationship with God and
our community.
Read Across America

Friday Adoration

Monthly
Eucharistic Adoration held each First Friday of the month.
Please take one hour of your month and spend it with Our
Lord, celebrating his gifts. This is a Parish wide activity
but as Catholic Daughters it is important for us to lead by
example in this celebration. The Knights do have a member
present during each hour. Let's try to meet that same level
of support. Make sure to let Mariette know if you will/did
participate.
Corporate
Communion - Lenten Stations of the Cross
Date : Friday March 12th
Time : 5:30 pm Mass
Location : St. Ignatius Martyr Church
As Catholic
Daughters it is important for us to increase our spiritual
bond as a group. One way we do this is by attending mass
together as a group during a Corporate Communion. At the
selected mass we will sit together along with our families
and celebrate with the Lord. Due to Lent, we will attend
Stations of the Cross in lieu of regular mass. After
Stations we will support Knights of Columbus and attend
Friday Fish Fry
Annunciation House Visit
Date : Friday October 23rd

Location : Annunciation House, Georgetown
Annunciation House is home for young
mothers in need of assistance to raise their children. The
house offers them a place to stay and teaches them
responsibility and parenting skills so that they are able
to manage in the future on their own. The Home is a state
project for CDA-Texas and our local court has chosen to
also support with a financial donation. On this date, our
court will be visiting them to see the facilities and learn

Rosary
Date : Tuesday October 6th
Time : 7-9pm
Location : St. Ignatius Church
Twice a year, we sponsor a Living Rosary
with the Knights of Columbus from our parish. All are
invited to attend a powerful and awe-inspiring spiritual
evening as we pray together as a community. Each bead on
the Rosary is represented by a living individual whom
lights a candle and says the representative prayer for
their bead. This event is a great way to celebrate our Holy
Mother and come together with our community. All members
are encouraged to attend and bring along your family and
friends.

Ignatius Fall Fest - Sweet Shop Booth

Our Court is ready to support our local
parish by sponsoring the Sweet Shop for the Annual Fall
Fest. Last year was such a great success due to our
membership's support and hard work. The proceeds of the
Sweet Shop will directly benefit the parish and its many
ministries. Come out and join the Fall Fest fun and don't
forget to bring your 3-5 baked good items. Make sure to
label your items especially if they have nuts or are made
with special ingredients. Large and small items are
welcomed. Sign-up at the Sept 21st Court meeting or contact
Olivia Morales for more information.
Ice
Cream Social with the KC's

It is our annual Ice Cream Social with the
KC's with Peggy and George acting as our gracious Hosts.
This event is a great way to mix and mingle with our local
Knights and fellow Daughters in a casual setting. The ice
cream is always a delight as are those toppings! Don't
forget to bring your lawn chairs and to RSVP to Peggy.
